A solid fuel stove provides a fantastic center piece within a room, particularly during the cold winter months. People are now more aware of the benefits of solid fuel heating systems. A good quality stove can offer a heating efficiency of up to 80% as opposed to burning logs on an open grate which can be as little as 25%.

Armstrong Chimneys offer an installation service with a liner once a suitable stove has been purchased. All our installations are carried out to the highest standards, using the best possible materials and conform to Building Regulations Document J.

We are HETAS registered engineers and will commission your installation and issue a certificate of compliance.

Armstrong Chimneys can also design, supply and install a rigid stainless twin wall system whereby you can have a wood or multi-fuel stove even if you have no existing chimney at your property.

With our experience in chimney sweeping, we are able to ensure all our installations are maintainable and are able to be fully swept, providing years of pleasure and safe use.

Installing your stove:

• Please contact us to discuss your requirements, the process of installation and the costs involved
• We will then arrange a visit to your property to carry out a no-obligation site survey, to assess the suitability of your installation, to measure up for components and formulate our quotation
• If the quotation is acceptable, we order all the required components and installation takes place within two weeks of the survey (possibly longer during busy winter months)
• All our installations are carried out using a high grade, twin wall flexible flue liner
